The Southcrest Project Area includes a variety of land uses, including 75% of residential properties; 9% of commercial land; 5% of business park facilities; 6% of park space; and 5% of open space.
Green Alley Filtration Project – this project runs adjacent to the Southcrest Trails Park development. This project once constructed will filter water entering the Chollas Creek, removing Diazinon, dissolved copper, dissolved lead and dissolved zinc and indicator bacteria. In addition, the paved alley will provide water pollution prevention. The project location is north of Beta Street where it intersects with 37th Street and 38th Street.
